After listening to some samples of the Maluku music performed by The Afterward, they give me the impression that Maluku music is very light-hearted and relaxing. When you listen, you can imagine yourself sitting under a palm tree, sipping coconut water and gazing at blue skies and blue seas. It's that kind of feeling ;) Compared with traditional Javanese, which is a lot more grandiose.
